CVOEO Mobile Home Project

CVOEO is the Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity. One of their initiatives is the Mobile Home Project

"The Mobile Home Project (MHP) works with mobile home park residents throughout the state of Vermont. We know that mobile homes provide an important, affordable home ownership opportunity for Vermonters.

The mission of the MHP is to help mobile home park residents and non-park owner/occupants of mobile homes, to individually and collectively achieve and maintain affordability and a greater degree of control over housing situations and mobile home park conditions. We achieve these goals through park resident organizing; education for individuals, groups and the general public regarding the rights and responsibilities of park residents and park owners; publicly promoting the positive value of mobile home ownership as an affordable housing option; and through providing professional housing counseling services."
